Trevor Gundaker Gets First MLRA Victory; Simpson Gets Title
Trevor Gundaker registered his first-career Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) victory on Friday night with a $5,000 win aboard Reid Millard's No. 14 at Tri-City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Ill.).
Meanwhile, Chad Simpson claimed his third-career Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association championship over the weekend in his No. 25 Black Diamond Race Car.
Cade Dillard added a pair of Crate Late Model victories over the weekend during the Spooky 50 at Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.).
Chandler Petty added a Saturday night win with the GRT Legends Dirt Late Model Series at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.).
Matt Melvin picked up the $4,000 Steel Block Late Model Series win during the Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park over the weekend in his No. 81 Black Diamond Race Car. (Josh Wilson image)
